Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Oakland, CA, requiring Level III NICU experience and an active CA RN license.

• NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) setting at a hospital in Oakland, CA
• Level III NICU patient population
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR used at this facility
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required — pending licensure not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent NICU experience within the last 3 years
• Level III NICU experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• 7 years of recent Level III NICU experience within the last 10 years preferred

Additional Information

• Contingent workers with prior Kaiser Permanente assignments may not exceed a cumulative two years without a 90-day break, regardless of whether the assignment was continuous or involved gaps of less than three months
