Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a SSSU/PACU position requiring strong Pre-op, PACU, and Phase II skills with on-call rotation responsibilities.

Details

• Hospital outpatient services setting with floating across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, Pre-operative Clinic, and Conscious Sedation for special procedures
• Day shift schedule working four 10-hour shifts per week with a variable schedule
• Shared on-call rotation required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong Pre-op, PACU, and Phase II skills required
• Experience in perioperative nursing, post-anesthesia care, and conscious sedation required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative education and patient care, including recognition and management of post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Perform nursing assessments across multiple outpatient care areas
• COVID-19 vaccine not required for this position
