Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Minnesota, requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and prior travel experience.

Details

Work in the Emergency Department (ER) of a hospital setting
Majority of shifts are evenings (3:00 PM–3:30 AM), with occasional day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
Weekend requirement of at least every other weekend, with potential variation based on unit and holiday scheduling
Epic EMR used

Requirements

Active MN RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
TNCC or CALS certification required
Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Primary residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
