Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a critical access teaching hospital, requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Emergency Department (ER) unit in a critical access, non-trauma teaching hospital with 25 staffed beds
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
- Block scheduling is required
- Rotating weekends required
- Patient ratios of 1:3–4
- No on-call requirements
- No floating within the unit, however all travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state
- Charts using Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active WA state or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ER RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Previous Providence facility employment history (travel, permanent, or per-diem) must be disclosed
Additional Information
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- No parking fee at the facility
- Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position
