Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring night shift availability and a minimum of 1 year of Epic EMR experience.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes orthopedic and bariatric cases on a telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Pyxis medication dispensing system in use
• Epic EMR is used on the unit
• Floating to other like units or nearby Prisma Health campuses may be required based on census needs

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license (must be eligible to practice in South Carolina)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• First-time travelers must have a minimum of 3 years of experience within the specialty
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• A valid Driver's License and Social Security Number are required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted Prisma Health campus to be eligible for this night shift Med/Surg Tele position; candidates under 50 miles are not eligible
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• When floating, staff will only be assigned to units for which they are qualified and have documented competencies
