Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department (ER)
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
Floating to the Med/Surg (MS) unit and caring for MS patients is required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active WA state or compact RN license required
Active certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
All required certifications must be active at time of consideration
Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are accepted, though prior travel experience is highly preferred
Previous PeaceHealth employees (travel or permanent) should disclose prior employment, including facility and dates
Orientations are held bi-weekly on Tuesdays
All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront at time of consideration

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
