Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a Critical Access Hospital, working night shifts with holiday coverage including Christmas.

Details

• Acute care Med/Surg unit in a Critical Access Hospital setting
• 18-bed unit
• 13-week contract
• Night shift schedule: 4x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekday and some weekend shifts required
• Floating required
• Holiday coverage required, including Christmas
• EMR: CPSI

Requirements

• Active WV or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg or acute care RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• At least 2 manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs are not provided; wine and/or white scrubs required
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred but not strictly required
• Schedule requests cannot be guaranteed but the unit will make efforts to accommodate travelers
