Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a 12-week assignment, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active professional licensure.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM, scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Tech experience required
• Active professional licensure required if applicable
• Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• RTO is capped at a maximum of 7 days and cannot be requested during the first week of assignment
• Holiday coverage is required: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them — major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler
• No alternate shift requests or special scheduling accommodations are permitted — the posted shift is firm
• Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred
