Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position in Michigan, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, with day shifts and every other weekend requirements.
Details
- Work in a 22-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 hours (0700–1930)
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Floating required on an as-needed basis
- No on-call responsibilities
- Charting performed in Cerner PowerChart
Requirements
- Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred
- Cerner PowerChart experience preferred
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Wear Caribbean Blue scrubs
- All time off requests must be submitted upfront — no time off in early July will be approved
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
