Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a travel contract at an acute care hospital, with a minimum of 1 year of experience and Saturday availability required.

Details

• Mammography unit within an acute care hospital setting
• 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Schedule includes Saturdays
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• Local candidates are accepted for this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
• Active professional licensure required if applicable
• Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
• May be asked to provide proof of 15 CEUs from the last 3 years and exam number from the last 2 years

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• Travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period — if 1 or 2 major holidays occur, no holiday RTO may be requested; if 3 major holidays occur, travelers must work 2 and may request 1 holiday off
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• No alternate shifts or special scheduling requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
