Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring active TN or compact RN licensure and a minimum of 1 year of ER experience with Epic EMR.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required, with potential changes based on facility need
• Floating to other units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to units where competencies have been demonstrated
• Medication system: Omnicell
• Documentation system: Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN state or compact license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI
• Preferred certification: TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

• First-time travelers will be reviewed and considered based on skill and experience
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from all Prisma Health facilities to be eligible for this travel assignment
• Candidates residing 50–99.9 miles from the contracted campus may be eligible at a reduced rate; under 50 miles is ineligible
