Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience, pediatric exposure, and night shift availability.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) unit in an academic medical center setting
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:00 (3x12-hour shifts)
• Weekend availability required; scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other holiday required
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating may be required based on clinical experience

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be considered
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (TNCC pending accepted at submission but must be in hand before start)
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• At least 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience, or 2 years of Level 2 trauma experience required
• Some pediatric ED experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

• Up to 40 hours of RTO is approved per 13-week contract
