Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a weekend-only travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of Level III or IV NICU experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based NICU setting
• Level III or IV NICU unit
• Weekend-only position: every Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday shift per week
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• 13-week contract with potential for extension
• Holiday coverage required
• Floating required to other departments within the hospital and to a sister NICU, with potential float to sister campuses within a 12-mile radius
• Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required at time of consideration — pending licensure is not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS (American Heart Association) — NRP preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
• Level III or IV NICU experience required; Level III experience must be from a larger facility — smaller Level III NICU experience will not be considered
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher, completed within the last 12 months, required for consideration
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
