Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry (CPCU) position requiring an active ME or compact RN license and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Details
- Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes adult med/surg and cardiac telemetry cases
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend may be required at the discretion of the department manager or supervisor
- Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday
Requirements
- Active ME RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS required
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and flexibility with scheduling required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- MOAB or CPI certification preferred but not required
Additional Information
- Works under the supervision of the Unit Director, with shift-level supervision provided by the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
- Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
- Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments at this facility; a minimum 26-week break is required before returning for another assignment
