Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift position in Tyler, TX, requiring ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification and at least 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.

Details

• Hospital-based Imaging/MRI department
• Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or approved equivalent
• MRI certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Basic computer proficiency required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI procedures, supporting patient throughput and efficient patient flow
• Provide MRI safety screening for patients and staff
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate malfunctions to appropriate personnel
• Ensure completed exams are correctly scanned and stored in PACS; serves as a PACS Superuser and follows downtime procedures as needed
• Participate in QA, ongoing education, and technical advances within scope of practice
• May be required to work other shifts or at other campuses as needed
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
