Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 12-week travel assignment in an outpatient and inpatient rehab setting, requiring at least 6 months of recent PT experience.
Details
- Physical Therapy department within an acute care hospital setting, located in Decatur, TX
- May float between Inpatient Rehab, Acute, and Outpatient Rehab areas
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Outpatient clinic hours are flexible; clinic is open M–F, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Small team of 3 full-time PTs, 1 PTA, and 3 PRN PTs
- Equipment used includes Hoyer Lift, Treadmill, Elliptical, and SCI Fit
- EMR systems used: Meditech Magic and ReDoc/NetHealth
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 6 months of PT experience within the last 6 months
- Outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Neurological patient experience preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with ST, OT, and physicians
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
Additional Information
- Primary responsibilities include physical therapy evaluation and treatment across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
