Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) in Grapevine, TX for a 13-week contract, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience including C-arm/O-arm surgical assist.
Details
- Outpatient and inpatient imaging/X-Ray department setting
- Patient population spans newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric age groups
- Procedures include standard radiology exams as well as assisting in minor OR cases using C-arm and O-arm equipment
- 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 11:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Radiology Technologist experience required
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- Active TX MRT license required (if applicable)
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Experience assisting in minor OR cases with C-arm and O-arm equipment required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Flu vaccination is mandatory; no exemptions are granted
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol under the general supervision of a Radiologist
- Responsible for proper patient positioning, equipment setup, and exposure factor adjustments
- Adheres to radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique protocols
- Documents and maintains medical imaging records in compliance with department standards
- May serve as preceptor for new team members
- Maroon scrubs required
