Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring an active IN or Compact RN license and Cerner experience, with on-call responsibilities included.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30)
• On-call required approximately 10–11 days per month, including weekends
• Position is based in a hospital Cath Lab unit
• Cerner charting experience is required
• Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility is required

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted)
• Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab RN experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• RN degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited university required
• 2 supervisor professional references required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates (IN residents) are accepted for this position
• Indiana residents who are current or former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have a 12-month separation before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and IN residents require a 180-day break
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• IN residents are exempt from the general IU Health restriction on IN RNs working at IU facilities, as Cath Lab RNs fall under the Periop exemption
