Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Austin, TX, requiring at least 1 year of recent MRI experience and ARRT or ARMIT certification.

Details

• MRI department within a main hospital imaging services setting
• GE MRI equipment used on-site
• Meditech EMR system
• Night shift schedule: Monday through Wednesday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend availability required
• No on-call requirement for MRI

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT or ARMIT certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• One professional reference required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Preferred candidates will have 2 or more years of MRI experience
• First-time travelers will not be considered — candidates must have had active MRI experience within the last 6 months with no gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Local candidates are not accepted; a 50-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions
• Technologist dress code: olive green top and black pants
• Permanent positions may be available on the unit
