Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a New Jersey hospital setting, requiring active NJ licensure, ACLS, and BLS certifications.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit (Delivery Room) in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required on an as-needed basis
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license required (compact license not accepted — NJ license must be in hand)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Two references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Perform thorough, systematic patient assessments and individualize care based on patient needs and changes in condition
• Maintain complete and accurate nursing documentation in Epic, including patient education and progress toward outcomes
• Uphold National Patient Safety Goals, including use of two patient identifiers and universal protocol
• Travelers may stay on assignment for up to one calendar year from their initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment at this facility
