Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift position, 18:45–07:15
• 36 hours per week on a standard contract for 12–16 weeks
• Telemetry unit (5B) in a hospital setting
• Scheduling is not self-directed; must be available to work any day of the week

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (Prevention First), and NIHSS — all must be active at time of consideration
• CPI Prevention First certification is a 30-minute on-demand video available at crisisprevention.com (approximately $25); MAB is also an accepted equivalent
• Social Security number (full preferred, last 4 acceptable), driver's license, and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• RTO requests should be limited to fewer than 7 days for the duration of the contract
• Candidates who have previously worked for Tenet Healthcare as a permanent employee must obtain MSP approval prior to being considered
