Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient orthopedic and personal injury/workers' comp setting in Landover, MD.
Details
- Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts); no weekend shifts
- Patient caseload averages 12–14 patients per day, approximately 60 patients per week
- Patient population includes orthopedic, personal injury, and workers' compensation cases
- Double booking is standard practice at most clinic locations
- EMR system used is RainTree
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required; new graduates will not be considered
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics required
- Experience with personal injury and workers' compensation cases required
- Current PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
Additional Information
- Full support staff is available at every location, including front office staff and PT Aides/Techs to assist with patient flow
- Orientation (FDI) is provided by the Clinic Director a few days before the assignment start date; Day 1 includes staff introductions, EMR orientation to RainTree, and shadowing/treating a few patients; Day 2 is expected to be at full caseload
- Contract clinicians carry the same or similar patient caseload as permanent staff clinicians
