Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient orthopedic and personal injury/workers' comp setting in Landover, MD.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts); no weekend shifts
• Patient caseload averages 12–14 patients per day, approximately 60 patients per week
• Patient population includes orthopedic, personal injury, and workers' compensation cases
• Double booking is standard practice at most clinic locations
• EMR system used is RainTree
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required; new graduates will not be considered
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics required
• Experience with personal injury and workers' compensation cases required
• Current PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Full support staff is available at every location, including front office staff and PT Aides/Techs to assist with patient flow
• Orientation (FDI) is provided by the Clinic Director a few days before the assignment start date; Day 1 includes staff introductions, EMR orientation to RainTree, and shadowing/treating a few patients; Day 2 is expected to be at full caseload
• Contract clinicians carry the same or similar patient caseload as permanent staff clinicians
