Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need PICU position in Oakland, CA, requiring a minimum of 5 years of dedicated pediatric intensive care experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR (experience expected)
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required — all licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending credentials are not accepted
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated PICU experience required (non-float)
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BSN or related bachelor's degree preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in an intensive care setting
• Travelers who have previously worked on assignment with this health system may be subject to tenure limitations — candidates who have reached two cumulative years of contingent work within the system must complete a 90-day break before being eligible for a new assignment
