Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need PICU position in Oakland, CA, requiring 5 years of dedicated PICU experience and a CA RN license.

Details

  • Night shift position: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract
  • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
  • Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Active BLS and PEDS ACLS certifications required — no pending certifications accepted
  • Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of straight PICU experience required (no floating experience — dedicated PICU only)
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • BSN preferred

  • Local candidates are accepted — local and travel rates are the same
  • Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • Candidates who have worked at this facility as a contingent worker for two cumulative years must take a 90-day break before returning, regardless of whether time was worked continuously or across multiple assignments
