Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in Oakland, CA, requiring 5 years of dedicated PICU and cardiac experience on a 13-week night shift contract.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Charting via Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required; all licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending credentials not accepted
• Minimum 5 years of straight PICU experience required (non-float experience only)
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BSN or related bachelor's degree preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Local candidates are accepted; local and travel rates are the same
• Candidates who have worked at this health system as a contingent worker for two cumulative years must take a minimum 90-day break before being eligible for a new assignment
