Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position in New Jersey, requiring at least 1 year of critical care experience and an active NJ RN license.
Details
- Position is based in a hospital Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts
- Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required
- No on-call responsibilities
- EMR: Epic (experience preferred)
Requirements
- Active NJ RN license required (compact license accepted if currently valid in NJ)
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCRN strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of critical care RN experience in a hospital setting required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team using a Shared Governance model focused on evidence-based practice
- Strong communication and computer skills are essential for this role
- Background check and drug screen required prior to start; results may take up to 2 weeks to process
