Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in California, requiring 3+ years of ICU experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• 13-week contract
• May float to other units within scope of practice, including other campuses
• Travelers can typically expect approximately 1.5 hours notice prior to shift start when floating is requested
• A shuttle is provided when floating to another campus
• Every other weekend required, plus additional weekend shifts based on unit needs
• On-call required as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN ICU experience required
• Minimum 6 months of prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
