Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and active TN or Compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in a hospital-based Neonatal ICU (NICU) setting
  • Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3 depending on acuity
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Weekend requirement: minimum 2 weekends per 4-week scheduling period, with preference for 3 of 4 weekends if needed
  • Floating within Women's Services only, and would be very rare
  • No on-call requirements
  • Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed but requests will be considered
  • Local candidates are welcome to apply

Requirements

  • Active RN license — TN or Compact license required; pending licenses not accepted
  • Current certifications required: BLS and NRP
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
  • A copy of your Driver's License and Social Security Card are required for consideration
  • Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Minimal RTO is preferred for the duration of the 13-week assignment
