Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) night shift position requiring Epic experience, ACLS, and BLS certifications.

Details

• Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) inpatient hospital unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
• Specialized procedures include TPN, wound care, drain management, Foley catheter care, and narcotic administration
• Epic EMR experience required
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Block scheduling will be considered
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior LTAC experience is not required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may assign you to an Emergency Team, which may require you to remain at the facility or serve on a relief team during an emergency event — candidates uncomfortable with this expectation should not apply
