Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position working nights with a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic EMR proficiency required.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Tele unit
• Patient population is primarily elderly adults presenting with general medical-surgical conditions including respiratory diseases, infections, dementia, and neurological issues
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a, 3x12-hour shifts
• Floating to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have demonstrated competencies
• Epic EMR is used on this unit

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible for this position; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Contract length is 13 to 26 weeks
• A charge RN is present every shift to facilitate unit flow and oversee operations
• The unit is described as having a healthy work environment with strong teamwork
• First-time travelers will be considered based on the strength of their experience
