Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a minimum of 1 year of PACU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based PACU setting
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 8:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• On-call required approximately 4–5 days per month, including one weekend per month (may vary based on need)
• Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have documented competencies
• Medication systems: Pyxis and Omnicell
• Epic EMR used; minimum 1 year of Epic experience required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Contract length is 13 weeks with a possible extension of up to 26 weeks
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from all Prisma Health facilities to be eligible for this travel assignment; candidates between 90–99.9 miles may be considered under modified terms
• Exception: For PACU (which falls under Exception 2 categories), candidates must be at least 50 miles from the relevant flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville); candidates under 50 miles are ineligible
• Two professional references required for consideration
