Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position in Massachusetts, requiring prior travel experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital-based Operating Room
• Patient population is perioperative, ages 16 and older
• Common diagnoses and procedures are perioperative in nature
• Schedule consists of rotating 10-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Weekend rotation is required on an as-needed basis
• On-call is required on an as-needed rotational basis
• Holiday coverage is required on an as-needed basis
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted; a local pay rate applies

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required; NURSYS verification report showing ACTIVE license and all past/present licenses must be provided
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of OR specialty experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Epic EMR experience required
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• Valid driver's license with address matching demographics on file

Additional Information

• Orientation is conducted bi-weekly
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to no more than 5 days per contract
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Two recent supervisor or manager references in matching specialty are required for consideration
