Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, at least one prior travel assignment, and a VT or compact RN license.

Details

• Full-time, 40-hour/week position in a hospital-based endoscopy unit
• Primary procedures include colonoscopies and basic endoscopic procedures
• Procedure rooms on the main floor handle conscious sedation cases; procedures requiring anesthesia are performed in an adjacent area near the OR suites
• 8-hour day shifts with variable start times ranging from 6:15 AM to 8:00 AM depending on the case schedule for the week
• Flexibility required to remain beyond the scheduled shift end if a case runs long

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• 2 manager references required for consideration

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
• Provide endoscopy nursing care including assistance with colonoscopies and other standard GI procedures in both conscious sedation and anesthesia-supported settings
