Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a CA RN license and BSN for a float pool position requiring rotation between day and night shifts across ICU, TCU, ED, and PACU settings.

Details

• Float pool position (not unit-based) requiring coverage across all ICUs, TCUs, ED, and PACU within the health system
• 12-hour rotating day and night shifts (Days: 7:00–19:30; Nights: 19:00–7:30), scheduled 3x12 per week
• Shift assignment may alternate between days and nights across scheduling cycles (4-week cycles)
• May be required to float to other facilities within the UCSF system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BSN required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• 2.5+ years of ICU experience preferred

Additional Information

• This is a float pool role — candidates must be comfortable working across multiple units and care settings
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of offer; requests submitted after contract signing will not be accommodated
• Two completed professional references must be available prior to consideration
