Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Kidney Transplant Med/Surg position requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least one prior completed travel assignment.

Details

• Inpatient Medical Surgical unit (8D) specializing in kidney transplant patients
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active Virginia (VA) RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in clinic or acute inpatient Med/Surg; candidates with solid foundational Med/Surg skills are acceptable
• At least one prior completed travel assignment required
• Flu vaccination required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility to be eligible for this position
• May come into contact with COVID-19 patients
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
