Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring active UT or compact RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of experience, with an on-call rotation component.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in a Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Day shift schedule, 9-hour shifts from 0700–1630
• On-call rotation required
• Epic EMR used in this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active UT or Compact (NLC) RN license — must be active at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted
• Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years — must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Candidates must permanently reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

• RNs at this facility must pass the Relias Dysrhythmia exam (basic or advanced) before an offer can be confirmed
• A pass/fail assessment on sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes is administered on the first day of orientation
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible — candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
