Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) with a minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience and ARDMS certification for a 13-week assignment at a pediatric hospital.

Details

• Pediatric hospital ultrasound department
• Obtain and evaluate diagnostic sonographic images for radiologist review and interpretation
• Responsible for data management, physician order reconciliation, patient transport, and result accountability
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–10:30 PM (4x10-hour shifts)
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience, with at least 2 years specifically in a pediatric setting
• Completion of at least 1 full travel assignment
• Experience at a dedicated children's hospital preferred; Pediatric Sonography (PS) board certification preferred
• ARDMS certification required
• Current BLS certification through the AHA
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) preferred
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Produces and evaluates sonographic images to assist radiologists with timely interpretation for patient treatment
• 13-week contract
