Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a 13-week travel contract in the Saginaw/Tawas, MI area serving a geriatric patient population.
Details
- Home health setting serving the Saginaw and Tawas, MI territory
- Geriatric patient population
- Average caseload of 5–7 patients per day (to be confirmed during interview)
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend
- Travel territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office
- EMR: HCHB experience required
- iPad provided for documentation purposes
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience
- OASIS experience required
- HCHB EMR experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid PT license required if applicable
- Must be flexible with travel territory coverage
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include timely documentation and clear communication as core expectations of the role
- Scrubs required (any color); jeans are not permitted
- Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel pay rate
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
