Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure for a 13-week travel contract requiring Epic proficiency and a valid driver's license.

• Home health setting providing patient care in the community
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required
• Strong critical thinking, complex problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills
• Effective professional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding work environment
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include developing treatment protocols, conducting training, and applying evidence-based practice to clinical care
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop clinical solutions and workflow best practices
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Former employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
