Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Sonographer with a full vascular skill set and at least 2 years of experience, requiring prior travel contract experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Cardiovascular and vascular sonography setting requiring a broad vascular skill set
• Procedures include renal studies, pre-op scans, pain mapping, and other detailed vascular work
• Average of 7–8 scans per day
• Call schedule includes approximately 1–2 call shifts per week and 1–2 weekends per month
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current Cardiovascular and Vascular Sonographer experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• RDCS and RVT certifications required
• ARDMS or CCI certification required
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Active Iowa license required if applicable
• Active Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Supervisory professional reference from within the past 2 years preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates with broader and more advanced vascular experience are strongly preferred
• Travelers who were previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
