Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a General Medicine unit position in Boston, MA, requiring an active MA RN license and at least 1 year of travel nursing experience.

Details

• 36-bed adult general medicine unit located in Boston, MA
• Patient population consists of acutely ill adults with a wide variety of complex medical diagnoses
• 36 hours per week on a rotating day/night shift schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• EMR: Epic (charting system used on unit)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required — must be AHA only
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
• Active MA RN license must be in hand at time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted

Additional Information

• Care for acutely ill adult patients across a broad spectrum of complex medical diagnoses
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced rate compared to the standard travel rate
• No validated parking available at the Boston location — public transportation is encouraged; public parking lots are available at the candidate's expense
• Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos
• RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of consideration
