Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a General Medicine unit position requiring an active MA RN license and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Work on a 36-bed Adult Medical unit in a hospital setting located in Boston, MA
- Care for acutely ill medical patients with a diverse mix of complex medical diagnoses
- 36-hour weekly schedule with rotating day/night shifts
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Uses Epic for EMR charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- Primary Source Verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date, with updates upon expiration (both NURSYS and BON required)
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information
- Provide complex nursing care to adult medical patients with a wide range of diagnoses
- Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
