Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - ECMO Specialist for a CVICU/ICU-based travel assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of ECMO circuit management experience and an active SC or compact RN license.

Details

  • ECMO Specialist unit within a hospital CVICU/ICU setting
  • Floating to CICU/CVICU units as needed based on census
  • Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Epic EMR — minimum 1 year of experience required

Requirements

  • Active SC or compact RN license required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Preferred certifications: CES-A or E-AEC, and LVAD
  • Minimum 2 years of ECMO Specialist experience with circuit management required
  • 3+ years of CVICU/ICU experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
  • RN ECMO Specialists only — Respiratory Therapy and Perfusion ECMO Specialists will not be considered
  • Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide ECMO circuit management and specialist nursing care in a CVICU/ICU environment
  • Floating may occur to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses; staff will only float to units for which competencies have been demonstrated and documented
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted Prisma Health campus to be eligible — those under 50 miles are ineligible for this position
  • Two professional references are required for consideration
