Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a multi-specialty Family Care Unit position in Wyoming, covering Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Special Care Nursery, Pediatrics, and NICU, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and active WY or compact RN license.

- Multi-specialty unit covering Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum (PP), Special Care Nursery, Pediatrics, and NICU
- Rotating shift schedule
- 8-week contract
Requirements
- Active WY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience required
- Special Care Nursery and NICU experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care across L&D, postpartum, special care nursery, pediatric, and NICU populations
- Provides patient and family education, transcribes and implements physician orders, and coordinates care with ancillary personnel
- L&D nurses are required to complete an Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring course within the first year post-orientation and an Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring course within three years of completing labor orientation
- This is a rapid response/crisis position
