Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a multi-specialty Family Care Unit position in Wyoming, covering Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Special Care Nursery, Pediatrics, and NICU, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and active WY or compact RN license.

• Rotating shift schedule
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Active WY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience required
• Special Care Nursery and NICU experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care across L&D, postpartum, special care nursery, pediatric, and NICU populations
• Provides patient and family education, transcribes and implements physician orders, and coordinates care with ancillary personnel
• L&D nurses are required to complete an Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring course within the first year post-orientation and an Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring course within three years of completing labor orientation
• This is a rapid response/crisis position
