Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an OB/GYN Clinic role in Richland, WA, requiring Epic proficiency and a background in obstetric emergencies or L&D.
Details
- Outpatient OB/GYN clinic setting focused on maternity and gynecological care for women
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- No weekends required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- Floating between all facilities within the state of Washington is expected and mandatory
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WA or Compact RN license required; pending licensure is acceptable if application has already been submitted
- Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN clinic or L&D nursing experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Strong knowledge of obstetric emergencies, including placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, gestational hypertension, and preeclampsia
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include triaging obstetric concerns over the phone, responding to patient inquiries via Epic and voicemail, and performing general clinic duties related to maternity and gynecological care
- Former permanent staff at this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; please disclose any planned time off upfront
