Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an OB/GYN Clinic role in Richland, WA, requiring Epic proficiency and a background in obstetric emergencies or L&D.

Details

Outpatient OB/GYN clinic setting focused on maternity and gynecological care for women
Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends required
No on-call responsibilities
Epic EMR used; experience required
Floating between all facilities within the state of Washington is expected and mandatory
13-week contract

Requirements

Active WA or Compact RN license required; pending licensure is acceptable if application has already been submitted
Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN clinic or L&D nursing experience required
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Strong knowledge of obstetric emergencies, including placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, gestational hypertension, and preeclampsia
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

Responsibilities include triaging obstetric concerns over the phone, responding to patient inquiries via Epic and voicemail, and performing general clinic duties related to maternity and gynecological care
Former permanent staff at this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Local candidates are accepted for this position
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; please disclose any planned time off upfront
