Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring a minimum of 3 years of critical care experience, including cardiovascular, medical, and surgical ICU cases.

Details

• 13-week contract in a hospital Intensive Care Unit
• Conglomerate ICU encompassing medical, surgical, and cardiovascular critical care
• Patient population includes TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, STEMI, HF, CHF, and pneumonia cases
• Procedures and therapies include vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Day shift: 06:45–19:15
• Floating required within the critical care service line, which includes ICU and step-down units

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with cardiovascular, medical, and surgical critical care patient populations required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Copy of all certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration
