Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in a conglomerate critical care setting with medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
• 13-week contract
• Conglomerate ICU encompassing medical, surgical, and cardiovascular critical care
• Patient population includes TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, STEMI, CHF, pneumonia, and hypoxic/respiratory failure cases
• Procedures and modalities include vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, CRRT
• Floating required between the critical care service line, including ICU and step-down units

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (both must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with cardiovascular, medical, and surgical ICU patient populations required
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Copy of certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration
