Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a travel contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Portland, OR.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds
- Mammography unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift, 5x8 hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekends, on-call, or block scheduling required
- No floating between units within this assignment
- Epic EMR — experience required
- Travelers may be expected to float between all facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience
- Proficiency with Hologic mammography equipment required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Biopsy experience preferred but not required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable for this role
- No parking fee at this facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
