Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced EP Lab RN with a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience, active MO or compact RN license, and scrub experience for a travel contract position.
Details
- Work in a 4-room EP Lab within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (7:30–16:00)
- No on-call requirements
- Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities, including on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the contract
Requirements
- Active RN license for both Kansas and Missouri (or a compact license) must be in hand at time of consideration — floating between facilities may require licensure in both states
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent EP Lab specialty experience required, including at least 1 full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months with no employment gap greater than 90 days
- Scrub experience required
- Proficiency in EP Lab procedures including pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, right heart catheterization, Watchman procedure, LAA closure, cardioversion, arrhythmia induction, tilt table study, and pacemaker insertion
- Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring, IV vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, thrombolytics, and reversal agents
- Skills in vascular closure systems, sheath removal/monitoring, ACT monitoring, and 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition
- Experience with central line and PICC line care, blood product administration, and IV infusion pumps
- Familiarity with radiation and laser safety, infection prevention, dysrhythmia interpretation, and isolation precautions/PPE
- 2 professional references required: one at supervisor level or above, and one charge RN or above — all references must be from individuals who have worked with the candidate within the past year
- Candidate's home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

- Unwillingness to float between departments, units, or facilities — or inability to provide licensure in both Kansas and Missouri — may result in assignment cancellation
