Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Neuro position requiring strong Epic skills and specialized neuro experience including neurosurgery, stroke, and Neuro-PIN care.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg Neuro unit setting
• Patient population includes CVA, TIA, AMS, Neuro-PIN, and general medical diagnoses
• Specialized procedures include neurosurgeries and Neuro-PIN patient management
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Epic EMR — strong proficiency required
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Block scheduling will be accommodated when possible
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (can be submitted pending)
• Neuro-specific experience required, including Neuro-PIN, neurosurgery, trauma, and stroke
• Strong Epic EMR skills required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Provide nursing care to a neuro-focused patient population including pre- and post-neurosurgical and stroke patients
