Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 3 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and Trauma Level II skills for a 13-week travel contract.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room of an acute care hospital setting
- Ortho trauma, craniotomy, and trauma cases are core to this position at a Trauma Level II facility
- Schedule is 4x12-hour shifts, available on both day (7:00–19:30) and night (19:00–7:30) shifts
- On-call is required: 2 weeknights every 6 weeks, plus one weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 12-hour shifts, days or nights) every month and a half
- Epic EMR experience is required
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS required; CNOR preferred
- Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience required
- Demonstrated experience with ortho trauma, craniotomy, and trauma cases required
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; proof of address required
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers with a minimum of 3 years of experience are welcome to apply
- Pending license may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 total days during the 13-week assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront
- Local candidates are not accepted — a 75-mile radius rule applies
